Clay Modeling Competition 2025

Celebrate Traditions, Protect the Planet.

This Ganesh Chaturthi, Sarvamangal Education Trust brought art, culture, and sustainability together with a unique Clay Modeling Competition in Rajasthan’s Pali district. The initiative was designed to spread environmental awareness by encouraging children and youth to create eco-friendly Ganesh idols from natural clay, avoiding harmful chemicals and plaster of Paris. By combining tradition with responsibility, the activity highlighted how celebrations can be joyful while still protecting Mother Earth.

The event saw 20–30 enthusiastic kids from rural Rajasthan take the stage with their creativity. Each clay idol was not just a symbol of Lord Ganesha, but also a reflection of the children’s imagination, skill, and love for the environment. For many, it was their first chance to mold clay into art, and the competition allowed them to explore their hidden talents while learning the importance of sustainability.

Through this initiative, Sarvamangal Education Trust aimed to inspire the next generation to celebrate festivals harmoniously with nature. The competition nurtured artistic skills and instilled the values of eco-conscious living. With smiles, laughter, and muddy little hands shaping the future, the event became a beautiful blend of tradition, learning, and creativity.

The Significance

During this year’s Ganesh Chaturthi, Sarvamangal Education Trust brought together art, tradition, and sustainability through a Clay Modeling Competition in Rajasthan’s Pali district. With the participation of around 20–30 children and youth from rural areas, the activity encouraged them to create eco-friendly Ganesh idols using natural clay, promoting awareness about celebrating festivals without harming the environment. More than just a competition, it became a platform for young talents to showcase their creativity, learn the importance of sustainability, and take pride in blending culture with responsibility — shaping not just idols, but also a greener tomorrow.
